Celebrating 50 Years on First Ave.

Central High School, originally known as Evansville High School, has been a force of excellence in Evansville education since 1854. Throughout our 167 years in Evansville, our school has evolved and blossomed with the times; while always keeping a sense of belonging for students, faculty, and staff.

It is with great excitement that we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Central High School’s First Avenue location. This is a celebration of the success of students, faculty, staff, and our community. We want to revel in the memories, the wonderful experiences, the friendships, and the education these 50 year old walls have provided. Please take a moment to reflect on what this great building means to you, and the fond memories you have of its community inside and out.

This will be a virtual celebration for past and present students, faculty, staff, families, and our community. If you would like to electronically share a favorite photo (please include the year, event, or a few words to celebrate our school, we would love to hear from you. Please email: [email protected]

Thank you in advance for sharing and all the support you have given us over the years. We look forward to your photos, memories, and words. Deadline for entries is Nov. 19, 2021.
